James Bond 007, has been an iconic spy since being first written about in 1953 by Ian Fleming. The first Bond movie was Dr. No, in 1962, and became a huge, successful movie franchise. There have been 22 movies so far, the latest being Quantum of Solace in 2008.

James Bond is a 00 agent and Royal Navy Commander for CMG and RNVR. He is British and in his mid thirties. He is famous for ordering vodka martinis "shaken, not stirred." He is known for being a "ladies man". He is fluent in many languages, being highly intellegent and educated.

He has been portrayed in films by Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Bronsan and Daniel Craig.
